"In Dire Need of real customer service!"
Warning Customers Beware! I was just robbed today at Trader Joe's in Philadelphia Pa. ******* The best that the management offered was to fault me and not their security! Wow thanks for that slap in the face. Will not be returning any time soon, shame on you and your approach to customer assistance. The best part of this is how they ganged up on my husband last summer while he waited for me at the front of the store. Due to his back injury he was not able to walk through the store and was accused of loitering while I shopped. After my experience today all I have to say is wow! Not so friendly and zero customer care. Thanks TJ

"Trader’s Joe Wayne NJ careless customer service"
Trader’s Joe Wayne NJ. I called the customer service to put away for me everything bagel. The employee told me “No need, there is plenty” 30 minutes later I couldn’t find any, and I went to the customer service. The employee was unable to give me an answer. I felt sorry driving late in the rainy evening and couldn’t buy what I needed.

"I can rave about a lot of TJ products"
I can rave about a lot of TJ products. But I got fooled anyway. Their Rib Eye is just a horrible cut. The fat doesn't ever render to something edible and the meat is just an old shoe. TJ was charging 13.99 lb. while Wegmans and Stew Leonard's down the road were getting 16.99 and 17.99 respectively. Both Weg and SL Rib Eye is FAR superior. TJ doesn't even state where the beef had originated. Last time for me in the TJ beef section.

"Watermelon Jerky"
This is a review for the watermelon jerky only. I was on vacation and made plans to go to trader joe's since there isn't one here where I live. For the most part I love the products that they offer but there were a few things that I would suggest you not buy when you're there. The first one is the watermelon jerky. It is by far one of the worst things I bought from Trader Joe's. It's BAD! Tastes stale, flavor is off, texture is off and it had a slightly "wet" feel to it. It was gross. Something else you shouldn't buy from there is the pre-cut fruits in containers. I bought 4 of those and when we opened them up it was smelled like it was already rotting. The weird thing is that it looked ok. The fresh whole fruit was fine. By the way this was the Trader Joe's in San Jose area.

"The frozen Mini Chicken tacos and the…"
The frozen Mini Chicken tacos and the mini beef tacos are terrible. I have never had a bad experience like this one. The "meat" inside are like a formed piece of paste. I didn't even finish one piece of either flavor. I had to throw the 2 boxes away. Bought so I could have a snack during the 49er/Eagles game. I do love the samosas though.

"Trader Joe's in the Davie FL Tower Shops....."
Trader Joe's in Davie Florida has been goto grocery store for the past 5 years. My major complaint is that more and more people are shopping at my store, so I avoid weekends. I buy a lot of Organic food at a decent price. I like the fact that produce is fresh at my store, and packaged foods have clearly marked expiration dates. I find prices are significantly lower than many other grocery stores, except for some things like Costco roasters. Last Tuesday they were out frozen salmon with mint risotto. I asked when they would get more. A manager told me he could take my number and call me when they came in. He called the next day and 4 salmon dinners were being held in my name. I wish I knew about this service sooner.

The produce and plants are not good. Over the past year I have noticed a decline in both. Don’t be fooled by low prices!

"No Guac tonight"
Bought a bag of tiny Haas avocados on a Monday; just the two of us and has always been plenty. Always delicious in the past.
Spouse cut them open two days later, and all were soft and rotten (see photo). Got blamed for inattention to viabiity; maybe, they were frozen along their way to the store: felt firm in the bag, but now right for the compost.
Had to eat the TJ Elote Dippers alone...We'll live but caveat emptor rules.
More Q-C, please.
"This morning"
This morning, as I do every week, I drove a long way to this Trader Joes for flowers, (gladiolas only.) For the past few months, this store is cutting down the amount of flowers in quantity and they have raised the price from 5.99 to 7.99.
This morning, the gladiolas were heading for dead! They were all leaned over and the very tops of them were suffering like they would after owning them in a vase for two weeks and caring for them properly. I saw they were not in water!
I requested the manager named John Grey. He has worked there for the whole time I've gone to this location, (2 years.) He has never smiled. He doesn't say Thank You. He always looks unhappy as he barely stares over his manager's station in front. It was made very clear today how little he cares!
When he finally came out from the back, he helped one of his cashiers while I continued to wait. Then he came over and said: "Yeah, how can I help you?"
I showed him the bad condition of the flowers, that they are not in water and I explained that I come a long way to get there.
He said: "Yeah, we don't put them in water so they wont bloom." Really?!
I said, they had been in water in the past, and thus I have always needed to use the plastic liners that they provide in the floral section.
He said: "I'll have to ask the person who takes care of the flowers..." and then shouted to a cashier as to whether they put them in water or not. She yelled back: "We don't put them in water so that they wont bloom!"
I said that the flowers are close to dead because they are NOT IN WATER. Just then, John Grey cuts me off as if to avoid others hearing our conversation and he said: "Well, that's all we have!" And he walked away!
Not one single: "I'm Sorry." Not one single: "Thank You for bringing this to my attention." He is simply as self centered rude person who has no qualms about acting this way in front of his employees...thus teaching them rude, kurt and unprofessional behavior right from him!
Its bad enough that you've raised all of your prices and cut down the quantities. This is unacceptable! I am going to post this complaint for others to be aware of his rudeness.
In the past year, my family and I have called in to complain about the rudeness of employees who don't even say hello at the cashier station. They engage in conversations with one another and act like we are not there but only to hand over our money. Not even a Thank You and Have a Good Day!!
John Grey and his other managers have managed to stay off the radar with their careless 'me first' attitudes and mistreatment of the very people who pay their bills: US!
Please do something about the way these managers at this store teach their employees by example when it comes to being apathetic and pathetic toward us.
The flowers are unacceptable there. They are cheating us and charging us. If you don't want flowers to bloom in the process of selling them, then why should we go there to buy flowers that we will have to bring back with a receipt because they died too soon?! More gas. More time. And no one at that store cares! Do you at corporate?!
We want an apology and we expect someone in corporate to take control of this bad behavior on the part of the managers there like John Grey. Immediately hereafter, I will file this with the BBB. It is not fair to be taken advantage of simply because no one is looking or listening. We Are!

"Passive aggressive cashier"
When I was close to checking out I realized that I wanted to buy bullion cubes. I caught the eye of a cashier who was about 10 meters away, and asked her "Do you have bullion cubes? " She responded"What "... I responded louder, as she didn't hear me " Do you have bullion cubes "... Her response was was, very tersely " Don't yell at me "
I said "I didn't yell at you, I yelled to you " She kept it up, repeating "Don't tell at me"
I found this encounter extremely inappropriate and very passive aggressive on her part. Maybe she thought she could bully a senior citizen... Maybe she was having a bad day... but there are no excuses for rude passive aggressive behavior. L
I'll always remember when I was younger, and working in my Uncle's drug store. I was rude to a customer, and I was fired... Best thing he could have done... a lesson in accountability... now individuals are rarely fired, and accountability has gone out the window.

"They insinuated that I wanted free groceries"
Three managers were extremely rude to me and indicated that they knew everything and that I couldn't take my groceries unless I paid. They had trouble running my card and refused to call anyone who might know how to process my payment. Instead they insulted me and acted arrogantly. When they subtly insinuated that I wanted free groceries, I couldn't believe it. All managers should be required to attend training to avoid making it appear as if people of color are under additional scrutiny. They never apologized to me.

"Random acts of kindness"
I experienced a random act of kindness at Trader Joe's in Wellington Florida today. My cashier (Nancy) realized I wasn't feeling very good. She asked me if I was alright and I told her I had a surgical procedure on Monday and had had a follow up appointment with my doctor today and needed a few items. She then turned to one of her associates and asked her to go get a small bouquet of flowers which she then gave to me and hopes I would feel better. She also had another associate (Clyde) who was helping her bag my items take my packages to my car for me. Thank you Trader Joe's for having such considerate and compassionate employees.
